Terms of Service
Last updated: June 19, 2026 · Vrexis Technologies
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of BriefOps, operated by Vrexis Technologies ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using briefops.app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The Service
BriefOps is a software-as-a-service platform that helps freelancers and agencies collect client intake information and generate AI-assisted project briefs. We provide the tools; you are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any generated output before sharing it with clients. AI-generated content is a starting point, not a final product.
2. Account Registration
You must create an account to use BriefOps. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@briefops.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
3. Acceptable Use
You may use BriefOps to:
Collect project intake information from your clients with their knowledge and consent, generate AI-assisted project briefs for legitimate freelance or consulting work, download and share those briefs professionally, manage your client relationships and brief archive, and invite team members under an Agency plan.
You may not use BriefOps to:
Collect information from individuals without their knowledge or consent, generate content that is defamatory, fraudulent, misleading, or illegal, attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform or its APIs, resell or sublicense access to BriefOps without written permission, share account credentials with users outside your agency seat allocation, or violate any applicable law or regulation.
4. Subscription and Billing
Free Tier
Free accounts include 3 project briefs at no charge. No credit card is required. Free tier limits may change with reasonable advance notice.
Pro Plan — $19 per month
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at $19/month. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain full access until that date. No prorated refunds are issued for partial months.
Agency Plan — $29 per month
Agency subscriptions are billed monthly at $29/month and include up to 5 seats (the account owner plus 4 invited team members). The account owner is responsible for all activity under their team. If the Agency subscription is cancelled, team members receive a 3-day grace period to access and download their briefs before losing access.
Refunds
We offer a 7-day refund for first-time paid subscribers who have not generated more than 5 briefs during that period. Contact support@briefops.app to request a refund within 7 days of your first charge. We reserve the right to decline refund requests that show signs of abuse.
5. AI-Generated Content
BriefOps uses artificial intelligence to generate project brief content based on client intake responses. AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing all generated content before using it in a professional context. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated output. Do not rely on AI-generated briefs as legal, financial, or binding contractual documents without independent review.
6. Intellectual Property
Your Content
You retain ownership of all intake responses, briefs, and other content you create or collect using BriefOps. By using the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process and store that content solely to provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your work.
Our Platform
BriefOps, its design, code, branding, and all platform content are owned by Vrexis Technologies. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without written permission.
7. Privacy
Your use of BriefOps is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using BriefOps, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers
BriefOps is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of security vulnerabilities. We do not warrant that AI-generated content will meet your specific professional requirements. Use of BriefOps in professional contexts is at your own discretion and risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vrexis Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of BriefOps, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or the service shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior toward the platform or other users, or for any other reason at our reasonable discretion with advance notice where possible. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Account Deletion and Data
When you delete your account, your profile, intake responses, generated briefs, and client data are scheduled for permanent deletion within 30 days. You may cancel a deletion request within that 30-day window by contacting support@briefops.app. After 30 days, deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. The date at the top of this page reflects when the Terms were last updated. Continued use of BriefOps after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of BriefOps shall be resolved in the courts of Texas.
